The AS021 Track Jacket belongs to the second category.
This piece is part of our Studio Made line, which means it’s created differently from our regular collections. Produced in our own studio and finished by hand, it represents the side of AncientStudios that has always mattered most to me: craftsmanship, experimentation, and making something feel personal.
I wanted to take the familiarity of a classic track jacket and completely rethink it through our perspective.
The silhouette is relaxed and slightly oversized, with volume through the body and sleeves. The black base keeps it understated, while the oversized AS021 artwork cuts across the shoulder and chest. Instead of simply printing the graphic onto the fabric, the design is worked into the jacket by hand, turning the branding into part of the construction itself.
That imperfection is intentional.
You can see the human element in the lines. The process. The hours behind it. No two handmade details ever feel completely identical — and that’s exactly what makes these pieces special to me.
A two-way zipper gives the silhouette more freedom and allows the jacket to be styled differently depending on how you wear it. Smaller label details add another layer without taking away from the simplicity of the overall piece.
For me, Studio Made has never been about making something unnecessarily complicated.
It’s about taking the time to do what mass production can’t.
To experiment.
